Marriage Notice, Warren Republican, Williamsport, Warren County, Indiana, Page 3, column 5: BRIER-HUNTER: - Thursday evening, June 10th, 1886, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Hunter, of Liberty township, by Rev. William Wilmer, Mr. James W. Brier of this place, to Miss Almira Hunter, of this county. A number of handsome presents followed the congratulations of the friends and the happy couple have the well wishes of every one.

According to the Index to Supplemental Record Marriage Transcript 1882 - April 1900, Letters A-Z, Williamsport, Warren County, IN: Almira Hunter was married to James W. Brier on June 18, 1886, Book 14, Page 191. Almira was 28 at time of marriage. Her father was J. P., and mother was Elizabeth Anderson.
