D. is not a veteran.

L. D. (Dow) Anderson of Enid, well known hail insurance adjuster, died suddenly in Frederick Saturday afternoon, according to word received here. Anderson was well known in Harper County and was here on business about two weeks ago. He was brother-in-law of the late C. W. Voris. Those attending the funeral Tuesday in Enid were Mrs. Cynthia Voris, Mr. and Mrs. George Cheap, Jr., George Cheap, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Harold Voris, Mrs. Gus Schallner and Jo of Buffalo and Ted Mullen of Alva.

Frederick, April 4 - (Special) - L. D. Anderson, 70 years old, Enid, hail special agent for the Great American Insurance Group, who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage while here on business Wednesday, died Saturday afternoon. Services will be held at Enid Tuesday, 2 pm.

Donald M. Voris
     Donald M. Voris, 70, passed away on April 10, 2006. He was born on September 12, 1935 in Lafayette, Indiana to his parents Lee Roy and Bernice Voris. After working along with his father on the Monon Railroad he entered the Army in 1954 and served in Puerto Rico. After leaving the service he was married to Eileen Turner of Brazil, Indiana on November 24, 1956. They moved to Miami, Florida where their son Bruce was born in 1960. After a career in sales with IBM they moved briefly to Brazil, Indiana and then to Phoenix, Arizona in 1975. In Phoenix he worked in the credit management, insurance and sales professions for Lou Grubb Chevrolet and Zales Jewelers. He was also a realtor with Red Carpet Realty. He married Peggy Waters on October 19, l992 and they lived in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Don loved to cartoon, play piano, organ and harmonica on which he was self taught, travel to the mountains, spend time with his grandchildren and take care of his beloved pets. Don had a big loving heart for everyone and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Peggy, mother, Bernice Walter, sisters, Barbara Sotelo and Marilyn Voris, son, Bruce (Sandy) Voris, grandchildren, Eric, Emily and Elliot Voris, Warren, Doug, Shannon, Jaime, Mitch, Blake, Isaiah, Shainey and Salem and a great grandchild, Xzavier. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank or the Arizona Humane Society. Visitation, Thursday, April 13, 2006, 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., A. L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral service, Friday, April 14, 2006, 11:00 A.M., First Christian Church, 6750 North 7th Avenue. Interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
